Your Next Move 2026
Nikki Skelding, Community Benefits Champion, attended the Your Next Move careers event hosted by Developing the Young Workforce Ayrshire in partnership with Ayrshire College.
The event welcomed around 250 attendees and brought together employers and organisations to discuss future career opportunities across the region.
Attending the event provided an opportunity to speak with young people and parents about careers within construction and the different pathways available across the industry.
Events such as this help increase awareness of career opportunities and provide young people with a better understanding of routes into the construction industry.

King George V Sports Complex Complete
Work is now complete on the new indoor three-court tennis centre in Dumfries, created on the site of the former outdoor courts and finished with a viewing gallery and link corridor.
The project also included community benefit activity, including engagement with pupils from Loreburn Primary School and North West Community Campus Primary School.

We recently took part in employability events in Saltcoats and Irvine for those interested in a career in construction.
Nikki attended the DWP Career Event at Saltcoats Town Hall and the Street League Academy in Irvine to discuss our apprenticeship routes.
Both events allowed people to learn more about trade roles and our apprenticeship routes.

We recently completed the Mainholm project in Ayr for South Ayrshire Council through hub South West Scotland, delivering 160 much-needed affordable homes.
Thanks go to LMA Architects, Clancy Consulting, Armour Construction Consultants and our supply chain partners for their key roles in the success of this development.
Projects like Mainholm also support our Apprenticeship Programme and wider community benefit initiatives, which remain central to our ethos.

St Peter's Primary School
We had a fantastic morning at St Peter’s Primary School in Ardrossan as part of World of Work Week, working with P1 to P4 pupils on exciting STEM activities.
It was great to see their curiosity and creativity as they designed their dream homes and then tried to build them.
A big thank you to the pupils and staff for the warm welcome, and a special mention for the thoughtful thank you card they made.
