Euan Clark
Managing Director
Euan joined Ashleigh in 2003 and has recently been appointed Managing Director following 12 years as Commercial Director, providing key Director involvement during both the development and construction phases of all projects. This role now widens to cover all parts of the business. Euan is the President of the Scottish Building Federation and a member of the Contractor's Legal Group on the JCT Contracts Council. Euan is based at our Prestwick Office.
David Roan
Area Director
David has been with Ashleigh since 2003 and is responsible for our construction activities within the Dumfries and Galloway area. He manages our site teams, subcontractors, and the allocation of resources whilst ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Alongside his role at Ashleigh, David is a Board Member of the Dumfries DYW and is the Chairman of the Dumfries and Galloway Construction Training Group. David is based at our Dumfries Office.
Colin Pyke
Area Director
Colin Joined Ashleigh in 2006 and is responsible for our construction activities within Ayrshire and the Central Belt. He manages our site teams, subcontractors, and the allocation of resources whilst ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. He boasts strong relationships with local colleges in the creation of initiatives like our work experience programme. Colin is based at our Prestwick Office.
Iain Forbes
Financial Director
Iain has managed the company’s Accounts department since joining in 2018. He ensures the efficient running of Ashleigh’s accounts and management of the finance team. Iain is also responsible for paying subcontractors and employees accordingly and on time. Alongside his Ashleigh role, Iain is a Director at the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce. Iain is based at our Prestwick Office.
John McLeish
Commercial Director
John joined Ashleigh in 2007 and now leads the Surveying department as Commercial Director. He is responsible for all aspects of cost control, procurement, risk mitigation and operational efficiency. Alongside collaborating with other teams to ensure Projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. In addition to John's role at Ashleigh, he is also a member of the DYW Finance, Strategy and Planning Group. John is based at our Prestwick Office.
Sharon Murray
Office Manager
Sharon has been with Ashleigh Building since 2013 and manages the day-to-day operations of our Dumfries office. She supports the Finance Director in overseeing payroll and payments to employees and subcontractors, maintaining accuracy and consistency across the business. Sharon is based at our Dumfries office.
Les Shearer
Technical Manager
Les has been with Ashleigh Building since 2001 and oversees the pre-construction phase of projects, managing design development, planning trackers and project risks. He leads design team meetings and workshops, coordinating inputs across stakeholders to maintain progress into construction. Les is based at our Dumfries office.
Katrina Wilson
Financial Administrator
Katrina has been with Ashleigh Building since 2018 and supports the Finance Director in managing company accounts, including payroll and payments to employees and subcontractors. She plays a key role in maintaining accuracy and consistency across financial processes. Katrina is based at our Dumfries office.
Ricky Welsh
Customer Care Manager
Ricky joined Ashleigh Building in 2008 and manages the Customer Care department, overseeing defect resolution across projects during the defects liability period. He works closely with tenants, housing officers, clients and Clerks of Works to coordinate and resolve defects within agreed timescales. Ricky is based at our Prestwick office.
Stevie McDonald
Estimating Coordinator
Stevie supports the estimating and technical teams by coordinating project documentation and administrative processes across tender and pre-construction activities. She is responsible for maintaining project files and issuing key information to subcontractors to support tendering and delivery. Stevie is based at our Dumfries office.
Andy Stevenson
H&S Manager
Andy joined Ashleigh Building in 2024 and is responsible for managing health and safety across the business, providing guidance and support to project teams. He carries out site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with health and safety requirements and works closely with Project Managers to address risks and maintain safe working conditions. Andy is based at our Prestwick office.
Neal Hodge
Estimator
Neal joined Ashleigh Building in 2018 and is responsible for preparing tender submissions, assessing project requirements and developing cost plans covering labour, materials and programme. He works closely with the pre-construction team to produce competitive and accurate tenders. Neal is based at our Prestwick office.
Rachel Forrest
Administration Apprentice
Rachel joined Ashleigh Building in 2022 and manages the coordination of project defects, acting as the main point of contact for tracking and progressing outstanding items. She works closely with subcontractors to monitor progress and provides regular updates to clients to maintain agreed defect timescales. She also liaises with tenants to arrange access for required works. Rachel is based at our Prestwick office.
Gordon McRae
Area Manager
As Area Manager, Gordon McRae oversees multiple projects, working with Project Managers to maintain control of cost, programme and quality across active sites. Having joined Ashleigh Building in 2008 as a Quantity Surveyor, he progressed to Senior Quantity Surveyor before moving into his current role. His experience delivering housing projects from procurement through to completion positions him to manage projects at a wider level across the business. Gordon is based at our Prestwick office.
Craig Devlin
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Craig joined Ashleigh Building in 2015 and is a Senior Quantity Surveyor responsible for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to completion. He works closely with Project Managers and Area Directors to maintain control of cost and commercial performance across active projects. His experience is primarily within housing developments, where he supports effective cost management and delivery. Craig is based at our Prestwick office.
Helen Cameron
Office Administrator
Helen has been with Ashleigh Building since 2001 and plays a key role in supporting day-to-day office operations. She is responsible for a range of clerical and administrative duties, working closely with both office and site-based staff to support the effective running of the business. Helen is based at our Dumfries office.
Danny Wilson
Senior Estimator
Danny joined Ashleigh 8 years ago and now oversees our Estimating department across both our offices. He is involved at the tender stage of projects, analysing and collecting data to estimate the time, money, materials and labour required to successfully deliver a project and prepare competitive tender submissions. Danny is based at our Dumfries Office.
Blayre Thomson
Quantity Surveyor
Blayre is a Quantity Surveyor responsible for supporting the commercial management of projects from procurement through to completion. He works closely with Project Managers and Area Directors to maintain control of cost and commercial performance across active projects. His experience is primarily within commercial and refurbishment works. Blayre is based at our Prestwick office.
Les Cottle
Planning Manager
Les has been with Ashleigh Building since 2006 and is responsible for developing tender, pre-construction and construction programmes, including build strategy and sequencing. He works closely with Project Managers and Area Directors to maintain control of programme, progress and delivery across active projects. His role supports effective planning and coordination from early stages through to completion. Les is based at our Prestwick office.
Findlay Williamson
Trainee Quantity Surveyor
Findlay supports the commercial team in carrying out quantity surveying duties, including assisting with valuations, processing payments and supporting the agreement of final accounts. He contributes to the commercial management of projects while developing his experience within the role. Findlay is based at our Prestwick office.
Lewis Little
Estimator
Lewis is responsible for preparing tender submissions, assessing project requirements and developing cost plans covering labour, materials and programme. He works closely with the pre-construction team to produce competitive and accurate tenders. Lewis is based at our Dumfries office.
Louise McGahan
Contract Coordinator
Louise joined Ashleigh Building in 2024 and is responsible for coordinating project documentation and supporting the delivery team across pre-construction and construction stages. She works closely with Project Managers to issue key documents, including operations and maintenance manuals and tenant guides. Her role also includes compiling pre-construction information, maintaining project records and managing PPE orders. Louise is based at our Prestwick office.
Nikki Kean
Community Coordinator / Office Manager
Nikki joined Ashleigh Building in 2019 and manages the delivery of community benefit initiatives across our projects, coordinating activities in line with the project pipeline. She works with the supply chain, local organisations, schools and community groups to deliver events, training and work experience opportunities. Her role includes securing funding to support local groups and managing monthly community benefit reporting to the board and clients. Nikki also provides administrative and operational support across the business. Nikki is based at our Prestwick office.
Lee Currie
Bid Manager
Lee joined Ashleigh Building in 2024 and supports the commercial team in preparing and submitting tender responses, proposals and quotations. He manages the day-to-day bid process, maintaining compliance with client requirements and coordinating inputs across the business. His role includes developing clear, well-structured submissions that reflect Ashleigh Building’s experience and capability. Lee is based at our Prestwick office.
