As one of the founder directors of the company, Douglas has been involved in the majority of the projects completed over the years. He initially led the Estimating team before the role of Business Director.

Euan Clark, Commercial Director

Euan started with Ashleigh as a Quantity Surveyor, worked his way to Commercial Manager and now holds the title of Commercial Director. Euan is responsible for overseeing and directing the company’s commercial department.

Colin started with Ashleigh Building in the role of Project Manager, since then Colin has progressed to the role of Area Director and is responsible for all of our construction activities within the Central Belt.

Les is involved at the pre-construction and construction stages of projects overseeing design aspects. He is also responsible for developing our employee training plan ensuring everyone has the necessary training for each role.

Craig has been with Ashleigh since 2001, and is involved at the pre-construction stage of projects. Craig is responsible for collecting and analysing data in order to estimate the time, money, materials, and labour required to complete projects.

Since starting in the role of Quantity Surveyor in 2007 John has progressed to Commercial Manager. He is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in the Commercial Department.

Claire started with Ashleigh in a graduate position. She is responsible for preparing all Pre-qualification and tender submissions. Claire also holds the company title of Community Liaison, working with local schools, community groups etc.

Ricky is responsible for overseeing customer care on all contracts from practical completion through to making good defects. He liaises with clients and dealing direct with tenants to resolve post contract issues.

Julie is based in our Dumfries office and is responsible for the day to day management of our company’s accounts department. She ensures that our company accounts are run efficiently, ensuring that our supply chain are paid accordingly and on time.

Lynn assists our Contract Managers on all their projects preparing construction documents, client handovers, and programmes. Lynn is also responsible for the recruitment of Apprentices.

Gordon Started with Ashleigh as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, becoming a qualified Quantity Surveyor in 2013. Gordon is responsible for the cost management of a number projects.
