Community Projects and Engagement

Ashleigh Building are committed to the on-going in engagement with local communities in which we operate. We have donated time and resource to a number of various projects, including:

  • The Zone Youth Club
  • North Ayrshire Council
  • Gretna Football Club

Unity Grill, Social Enterprise, Ayr

We donated our time and resource to help with the construction works at a new social enterprise in Ayr. The Unity Grill is a new restaurant that is hoping to battle food poverty within South Ayrshire. Ashleigh team members have been working through the week, with some staff members volunteering their time at night. This is a great community project and we are delighted to be involved.

The Zone, Youth Club, Bellsbank

Ashleigh Building’s Apprentices are currently working on a new community project at Bellsbank. The works consist of upgrading the exterior of the existing youth club building by installing new wooden panels, re-painting the unit, and assisting with setting up new play equipment. This project is a great way for our apprentices to learn new skills, as well as giving back to the local community.

Doonfoot Primary School, Sensory Garden

Our Apprentices and the Princes Trust worked together on this voluntary project for the Communication Support Base at the school. This was a fantastic project for all involved and the finished works look great.
